Project Case Study
Dog PPL has an amazing concept: membership-only social club and dog park in the middle of Santa Monica. As part of their infrastructure, Dog PPL was looking to build a retail space and coffee shop to engage members and non-members alike. They needed two boxes to be turned around in four weeks: one a mobile coffee and beverage container, the other a check-in center and retail space for cute swag. And it needed to be placed in one of the least container-friendly cities in the US: Santa Monica.
The solution
Working with Dog PPL and REEF (the site manager), we came up with a design using two 20 foot high cube containers for a coffee bar/cafe in one box, and retail in the other. The coffee bar has three flip-up service awnings and the retail container has a 16’ roll up door with operable cargo doors.
